Rise Like the Eagle: Cultivating Resilience in Life and Leadership
In life, we’re all going to face storms some come suddenly, others build over time. But how we respond to these storms defines our path forward. In my journey from the tough neighborhoods of Southwest Atlanta to standing in formation on the White House lawn, I’ve learned one powerful truth: you must think like the eagle.
Eagles don’t run from the storm. They rise above it.
That’s what having an eagle mentality is all about. It’s about facing adversity with courage, vision, and relentless focus. When others are retreating, the eagle soars higher. It uses the storm's wind to lift itself, not just to survive, but to gain new heights.

This mindset doesn’t just build personal growth it creates bold, compassionate, and effective leaders who show up not just when it’s easy but when it’s necessary.
